Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network in Vacaville, CA is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental disabilities. The role focuses on health, safety and well-being, acting as an advocate to improve quality of life, under person-centered care.

Qualifications include a Direct Support Professional Certificate (DSP Year 1 & Year 2), First Aid/CPR and CPI preferred, must be 21+, hold a California Driver’s License, and pass background checks.

• Direct Support Professional Certificate – DSP Year 1 & Year 2 (must obtain within first 12 months of hire).
• First Aid/CPR & CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention (Preferred or willing to obtain).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a California Driver’s License.
• Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including background check.

Responsibilities

• Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients' (visual and active) as written in the Individual Program Plan.
• Assist clients with bathroom needs.
• Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
• Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary).

Job Title: Direct Support Professional
Hourly Rate: $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
Shifts Needed: Friday-Saturday 6AM-2PM, Sunday-Monday 2PM- 10PM
Job Status: Full Time

Here’s What You’ll Do:

TheDirect Support Professionalsupports individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting their health, safety and well-being. Our Direct Support Professionals proudly serve as an advocate to improve the overall quality of life for our clients.
