• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must pass state checks: Nebraska Child/Adult Protective Services Central Registry and criminal background check.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered supports to promote independence and self-advocacy.
• Assist with daily living, community integration, and group activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of supports each shift.
• Ensure safe environments and use gait belt for transfers when needed.
• Arrange transportation and accompany individuals to appointments and activities.

As a DSP, you will be responsible for maintaining consistent engagement with the people you are supporting, whether they are at home or out in the community. You will be required to work independently, create safe environments, and provide accurate documentation for the support provided during every shift.
