Venture Community Services Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to participate actively in their lives.

This full-time role involves hands-on daily living support, including household tasks, meal prep, and transportation to appointments, with a focus on safety and dignity. The position offers a 40-hour work week with a pay range of $17.50 to $19.00 per hour and paid training; a $1,000 sign-on bonus for full-time

• Commitment to helping people with varying disabilities participate in the community.
• Proven conscientious, responsible behavior (work, volunteer or school history).
• Ability to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated member of the team.
• Speak, read, and write in fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults with IDs to participate actively in daily living.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, shopping, and appointments.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and medical guidelines.
• Help clients engage in community activities and maintain safety.
