Job summary

Venture Community Services Inc. is hiring a Direct Support Professional to empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This full-time 40-hour position offers daytime and evening shifts, a pay rate of $17.50–$19.00 per hour and paid training.

You will assist with daily living activities, accompany clients to medical appointments, and implement support plans while upholding safety and dignity. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time employees.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22+ with intellectual/developmental disabilities, empowering activity and independence.
• Assist with daily living tasks: household chores, meals, shopping, grooming and safety.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, banking, outings and community activities.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and program goals; maintain MAP training.
