Responsibilities

• Companionship
• Community engagement and socialization
• Personal hygiene
• Routine housekeeping tasks
• Administration of medications
• Money management
• Nutrition, grocery shopping, and cooking
• Attending medical appointments
• Proper use of appliances and adaptive/assistive devices
• Home safety, first aid, and emergency procedures

Direct Support Professionals are integral to individuals’ lives through the implementation of a person‑centered individualized plan that enables those we serve to participate in thriving and vibrant communities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass background checks.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, a working vehicle, personal vehicle insurance, and acceptable driving record.
• Must be willing to work non-traditional hours (as required) to meet individual needs (evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• Excellent work and personal references required.
• No experience required.
• Ability to complete all required written documentation and supporting reports of services provided.
• Manage a variable work schedule with good attendance and punctuality.
• Complete ongoing in‑service and other educational training.

Compensation & Benefits

Weekend Premium: Staff will receive a $1.00 increase to their hourly rate of pay.

Midnight Premium: Staff will receive a $1.50 increase to their hourly rate of pay.
