Lirio Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Rensselaer, IN to assist individuals with disabilities to live independently and reach personal goals.

The role covers companionship, community engagement, life skills, and daily living tasks, with premiums for weekend and midnight hours. Training is provided and travel/vehicle support is available, with a not-for-profit mission guiding the work.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass background checks.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, a working vehicle, personal vehicle insurance, and acceptable driving record.
• Must be willing to work non-traditional hours (as required) to meet individual needs (evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• Excellent work and personal references required.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, community engagement and socialization.
• Assist with life skills, personal hygiene, and routine housekeeping.
• Administer medications and money management tasks.
• Assist with nutrition, grocery shopping and cooking; attend medical appointments.
• Ensure home safety, first aid and emergency procedures.

Our Direct Support Professionals provide assistance to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities to live an independent life. Our caring professionals assist with:

• Companionship

Staff will receive a $1.00 increase to their hourly rate of pay.

Midnight Premium

Staff will receive a $1.50 increase to their hourly rate of pay.
