Lirio Resources Inc is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with disabilities in living more independently and thriving daily. You will provide companionship, assist with life skills, and help with community outings to promote social engagement and autonomy.

The role emphasizes personal hygiene support, routine housekeeping, meal planning and cooking, and attendance at medical appointments while maintaining a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass background checks.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, a working vehicle, personal vehicle insurance, and acceptable driving record.
• Must be willing to work non-traditional hours (as required) to meet individual needs (evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• Excellent work and personal references required.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social engagement to individuals with disabilities.
• Assist with life skills and community outings to promote independence.
• Support with personal hygiene, routine housekeeping, and meal planning/cooking.
• Assist with medication administration and ensure safety in daily activities.
• Attend medical appointments and help with scheduling and transportation.
• Support money management and budgeting for individuals.
• Remind and assist with use of appliances and adaptive devices, safety procedures.
