Clear Destination Inc. is hiring a Direct Support Professional to assist adults with disabilities in a day center setting in San Marcos, CA. This role focuses on building independence, facilitating meaningful activities, and supporting life skills development in a caring, structured environment.

The position is a 3-month temp assignment with a pay rate of $20.00 to $20.65 per hour and a schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., offering hands-on experience in person-centered care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six (6) months of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting clients in learning life, social, and personal care skills.
• Assisting with daily needs, including feeding, toileting, and mobility.

About the Role:

We are hiring a Direct Support Professionals to support adults with disabilities in a day center setting. In this role, you'll help clients build independence, engage in meaningful activities, and develop essential life skills in a supportive environment.

This is a temp position for 3 months.

Pay: The pay for this position is $20.00 to $20.65.

Location: San Marcos

Schedule: 8:30a-3p

What you'll need to be successful:

• High school diploma or GED
• Six (6) months of experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Valid California Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.

We'd love it if you:

• Have experience with case management systems (Therap preferred)
• Are bilingual in English and Spanish
• Have previous experience in a caregiving or teaching role
