Job summary

Access Services is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to support adults with developmental disabilities in the Glenside, Flourtown, Ambler, and Willow Grove areas. Roles include Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities with shifts 9AM–7PM on weekdays and Saturdays, offering paid training and PTO.

As a DSP, you’ll provide personal care, daily living assistance, and community-based support in homes and programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of direct care experience preferred.
• Ability to provide personal care and daily living assistance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support Professionals will assist individuals with developmental intellectual disabilities in the region where you serve. You will provide creative support through a variety of tasks, activities and/or community engagement.
• Direct Support Professionals will provide supports as outlined in the individual’s plan of care utilizing approved interventions.
• Direct Support Professionals will maintain appropriate case notes for the individuals served.
• Direct Support Professionals will engage in supervision, training, and professional development.
