Job summary

Access Services is seeking a caring Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with intellectual disabilities in the Glenside, Ambler, Willow Grove areas. Opportunities are available for both full-time and part-time schedules, with shifts from 9AM to 7PM on weekdays and Saturdays.

Paid training is provided, and benefits include PTO and a 401k match. As a DSP, you will assist with daily living activities, personal care, and community engagement, helping individuals live meaningful lives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of direct care experience preferred.
• Selected candidate must meet background checks, physical examination, and driving history requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with developmental intellectual disabilities in the region where you serve.
• Provide supports as outlined in the individual’s plan of care utilizing approved interventions, including crisis management, emotional support, and positive reinforcement.
• Maintain appropriate case notes for the individuals served.
• Engage in supervision, training, and professional development.
