Job summary

Access Services is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support adults with developmental disabilities in the Glenside, Flourtown, Ambler, and Willow Grove areas. Roles include personal care, daily living support, and light housekeeping in homes and community settings. Training is provided; no experience required.

Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, with shifts from 9AM to 7PM on weekdays and Saturdays. PTO, 401k match, and other benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience preferred: 1 year direct care with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Must meet background checks, physical exam, and driving history criteria.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in homes or community settings.
• Provide supports per care plan, including crisis management, emotional support, and positive reinforcement.
• Maintain case notes and participate in supervision and training.
• Engage in activities and community engagement to support independence.
