Job summary

Access Services is seeking a caring, patient Direct Support Professional (DSP) for part-time opportunities to support individuals in Hatboro, Warminster, Richboro and Southampton. The current shifts are on weekdays, ranging from 9AM to 6PM.

As a DSP, you will support adults with developmental disabilities and autism in living meaningful lives, providing hands-on support in homes and throughout the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of direct care experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with families and case managers.
• Ability to learn and use workplace technology and document outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support Professionals will assist individuals with developmental intellectual disabilities in the region where you serve.
• Provide supports as outlined in the plan of care including crisis management, emotional support, and positive reinforcement.
• Maintain appropriate case notes for the individuals served.
• Engage in supervision, training, and professional development.

Skills
