Job summary

The Chimes, Inc. is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to empower individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges in a compassionate, team-based setting. The role emphasizes dignity, independence, and daily living support in a mission-driven nonprofit.

As a DSP, you will follow care plans, document progress, and may travel between Residential and Day programs. Training is provided; a high school diploma or GED is required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Experience in disability services is a plus but trainees are provided.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Use approved behavior support techniques.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Some DSP roles may require travel between programs.
