Job summary

Chimes is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to empower individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to live with dignity and independence. This role offers $21.53 per hour, paid training, and a supportive team-focused environment where compassion guides everyday work.

You will follow care plans, document progress, and help with daily living tasks while promoting community involvement and safety. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50+ lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Experience in disability services is preferred but not required—we train.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record as specified in policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing and other daily living skills.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Use approved behavior support techniques.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Some DSP roles may require travel and support from Residential to Day programs.
