Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., in a mission-driven nonprofit setting. You will empower individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to live with dignity and independence while growing in a supportive team environment.

The role offers paid training, ongoing development, and benefits. You’ll provide hands-on support, assist with daily activities, and help participants participate in community programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Disability services experience preferred, but training is provided.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications according to policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Some roles may require travel between Residential and Day programs.
