Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Monterey Park, CA. The role focuses on promoting health, safety, and well-being for individuals with developmental disabilities and advocates for an improved quality of life.

Healthy, stable environments are created through daily routines, client advocacy, and adherence to individual program plans. The position carries full-time status with a night shift and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 1 Year of experience working closely with individuals that have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Experience with high behaviors a plus.
• First Aid/CPR and CPI -Crisis Prevention Intervention (Preferred or willing to obtain)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a California Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients' (visual and active) as written in Individual Program Plan.
• Assist clients with bathroom needs.
• Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
• Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary).
