Job summary
Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional in West Hollywood, CA. The role focuses on promoting health, safety and well-being for individuals with developmental disabilities and serving as an advocate for quality of life.
Includes daily routines, meal preparation, personal care assistance and possible client transportation. Requires 21+ years old, a valid CA driver’s license, and successful background screening.

Responsibilities
- Outline and prepare daily routines for clients as per Individual Program Plan.
- Assist clients with bathroom needs and clothing changes when needed.
- Prepare daily meals and assist with cleanup.
- Pickup/drop-off clients in company vans when necessary.

Shifts Needed: PM 2p-10p Saturday -Wednesday
Job Status: Full Time 40hrs/wk

TheDirect Support Professionalsupports individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting their health, safety and well-being. Our Direct Support Professionals proudly serve as an advocate to improve the overall quality of life for our clients.
- Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients' (visual and active) as written in Individual Program Plan.
- Assist clients with bathroom needs.
- Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
- Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
- Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary).
- Direct Support Professional Certificates 1 & Year 2 (Preferred or willing to obtain within the first 2 years of hire)
- First Aid / CPR and CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention (Preferred or willing to obtain within the first 6 months of hire)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a California Driver’s License
- Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check.
- Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50lbs.
- Able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
