Redwood Family Care Network in Vacaville, CA is hiring a Direct Support Professional to promote health, safety and well-being for individuals with developmental disabilities. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate and AM/PM shifts.

Responsibilities include planning daily routines, assisting with personal care and meals, and supporting clients in community and home settings. DSP certification and CA driver’s license are required or obtainable within 12 months.

Qualifications

Direct Support Professional Certificate – DSP Year 1 & Year 2.
First Aid/CPR & CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention (Preferred or willing to obtain).
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have a California Driver’s License.
Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including a background check.

Outline and prepare daily routines for clients as written in the Individual Program Plan.
Assist clients with bathroom needs.
Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary).

Job Title: Direct Support Professional
Hourly Rate: $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
Shifts Needed:AM and PM

Here’s What You’ll Do:

TheDirect Support Professionalsupports individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting their health, safety and well-being. Our Direct Support Professionals proudly serve as an advocate to improve the overall quality of life for our clients.

Essential Functions:

Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients' (visual and active) as written in Individual Program Plan.
Assist clients with bathroom needs.
Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.

Education and Experience:

Direct Support Professional Certificate – DSP Year 1 & Year 2 (Must obtain within first 12 months of Hire)
First Aid/CPR & CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention (Preferred or willing to obtain)
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have a California Driver’s License
Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check.
