Job summary

Ardmore Enterprises, Inc. is hiring a Direct Care DSP to support adults with disabilities in community and residential settings. The role focuses on person-centered planning, skill-building, and meaningful participation in everyday activities and community life.

You will work as part of a team to assist with daily living, health and safety, and personal care while upholding residents’ dignity and preferences. Training is provided and employment offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must believe everyone can work.
• Able to support the physical, emotional and cognitive needs of individuals.
• Knowledge of ASL strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Capable of flexible field work across settings.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Use person-centered principles to support people in service delivery.
• Help people develop and maintain relationships, including natural supports.
• Help people expand their social roles and experiences.
• Protect confidentiality and privacy of those served.
• Assist with health, safety and daily living activities.
• Communicate openly with families, coworkers and providers.
• Report incidents per Ardmore policy and procedures.
• Report abuse, neglect, exploitation, or harm immediately.
• Maintain health and wellness supports as needed.
• Demonstrate Ardmore’s mission and Employment First philosophy.
