Qualifications

• Earned High School Diploma or GED from an accredited educational institution.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Able to communicate effectively with the individuals to whom services are provided.
• Experience in a residential setting serving people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or with other types of special needs populations.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in achieving their personal goals with a person-centered focus.
• Teach independent living and daily skills to residents by identifying social, environmental, and health care needs.
• Actively plans, coordinates, and participates with residents in social activities and community outings.
• Instructs and participates in household tasks with residents such as cleaning and meal preparation.
