Qualifications

• Must be at least 20 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CPR and First Aid certification if not currently certified.
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks, drug screening, and a pre-employment physical.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Assist with personal care, meals, and daily living skills.
• Support appointments, community outings, and recreational activities.
• Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.
• Follow individualized support plans and goals; promote dignity and person-centered care.
