Job summary

Resources for Human Development (RHD) is hiring a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living more independent, connected lives. No experience required; paid training provided. Full-time, competitive pay with DailyPay option.

You will provide supervision, support, and transportation, helping clients achieve personal goals and participate in community activities with a compassionate, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to pass all required background screenings, including FBI clearance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support in accordance with each individual's ISP.
• Assist individuals in achieving personal goals and desired outcomes.
• Help with activities of daily living, including meals, personal hygiene, and household tasks.
• Provide transportation to appointments and community events as needed.
• Assist individuals in accessing community resources and supports.
• Administer or assist with medications as required.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with program and clinical staff to ensure quality services.
• Promote healthy, safe, and socially appropriate behaviors.
