Job summary

Legacy Treatment Services is seeking direct support professionals to work with adolescents in a group home setting. You will relate with youths, accompany them to academic events, medical visits, and community activities, and teach practical life skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma/GED plus three years of experience working with children/adolescents.
• CPR/First Aid training provided after hire is part of the training program.

Responsibilities

• Relate with adolescents, understand what they are going through and build rapport.
• Attend and accompany academic events, shopping, community integration and medical visits.
• Teach life skills such as cooking, laundry and cleaning.
• Use crisis de-escalation skills when necessary and maintain a safe environment.

This position pays a $2.00 per hour shift differential for hours worked from 11pm Friday through 11pm Sunday for both FT and PT employees.The Reily Program is a group home for adolescents in a community setting. We are looking for direct support professionals to make a positive difference with the Consumers in our programs.
