Job summary

Premier Community Supports, LLC is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide in-home and community-based care in Roseburg, OR. You will support individuals with I/DD, focusing on independence, daily goals, and community engagement.

Responsibilities include building relationships, assisting with daily living, coordinating with families, and enabling social participation. Training, benefits, and scheduling flexibility are provided to support growth and meaningful work.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Pass criminal background check per state requirements (Oregon OARs).
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle if transportation duties apply.
• Smartphone access for documentation and timekeeping.
• CPR & First Aid certification (training provided if needed).
• Willingness to complete annual required training (24 hours minimum).
• Comfort around animals if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Build a supportive, person-centered relationship with the individual and honor their ISP.
• Promote autonomy and help with rights-based decisions.
• Assist with daily living activities and light household tasks.
• Collaborate with family and support teams to achieve outcomes.
• Plan and support community participation and appointments.
• Assist with budgeting, shopping, and meal preparation when needed.
• With training, administer or support medications per protocols.
• Report incidents and maintain required documentation per regulations.
• Provide transportation in a personal vehicle when required.
• Adapt to day, evening, night shifts and weekends.
