Job summary

In Good Company Care and Supports is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across New Jersey. We offer full-time and part-time roles in home and community settings, with comprehensive training provided.

You will assist with daily living tasks, support community activities, follow care plans, and maintain documentation and safety standards, while communicating with families and staff to ensure person-centered

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with IDD preferred but training is provided.
• Patient, compassionate, and dependable.
• Strong communication and good judgment.
• Comfortable with personal care tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Able to pass background checks and complete DDD training (CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on support to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in homes and communities.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal prep, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community activities, appointments, and outings.
• Follow individualized care plans and behavior support plans as directed.

• Document services provided accurately and in accordance with NJ DDD requirements.
• Communicate regularly with families, care team members, and agency staff regarding needs and progress.

We're looking for compassionate, reliable Direct Support Professionals to join our team — both full-time and part-time positions available.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct, hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in their homes and communities

• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
