Job summary

In Good Company Care and Supports seeks Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout New Jersey. Full-time and part-time roles are available, with positions in homes and communities.

You will provide hands-on support, help with daily living activities, accompany individuals to appointments and events, and follow care plans. Training is provided, and a background check is required for team members.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with IDD preferred, but training is provided.
• Patient, compassionate, dependable.
• Strong communication skills and good judgment.
• Comfortable with personal care tasks.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks and complete DDD training (CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, etc.).

In Good Company Care and Supports provides home- and community-based support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout New Jersey. We're looking for compassionate, reliable Direct Support Professionals to join our team — both full-time and part-time positions available.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct, hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in their homes and communities

• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks

• Support individuals in community activities, appointments, and outings

• Follow individualized care plans and behavior support plans as directed

• Administer medication as trained and authorized (where applicable)

• Document services provided accurately and in accordance with NJ DDD requirements

• Communicate regularly with families, care team members, and agency staff regarding the individual's needs and progress

• Maintain a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment at all times

What We're Looking For
