Job summary

In Good Company Care and Supports is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our New Jersey team. We offer both full-time and part-time positions across homes and community settings throughout the state.

You will provide direct care, assist with daily living activities, and support individuals in community activities and appointments. Training is provided, and you will work with individualized care plans and required documentation to ensure safety and progress.

Qualifications

• Background checks required and DDD-mandated training provided.
• CPR/First Aid and Medication Administration training provided.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• IDD experience preferred but not required, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in their homes and communities.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community activities, appointments, and outings.
• Follow individualized care plans and behavior support plans as directed.
• Administer medication as trained and authorized (where applicable).
• Document services provided accurately and in accordance with NJ DDD requirements.
• Communicate regularly with families, care team members, and agency staff regarding the individual's needs and progress.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment at all times.

We're looking for compassionate, reliable Direct Support Professionals to join our team — both full-time and part-time positions available.

• Ability to pass required background checks and complete DDD-mandated training (CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, etc. — provided by the company)
