Job summary

In Good Company Care and Supports is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide hands-on support to individuals with IDs in their homes and communities across New Jersey. The DSP will assist with daily living tasks, personal care, meals, and household activities, while following care plans.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with IDD preferred, but training provided.
• Patient, compassionate, and dependable.
• Strong communication skills and good judgment.
• Comfortable with personal care tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background checks and complete training (CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

We're looking for compassionate, reliable Direct Support Professionals to join our team — both full-time and part-time positions available.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct, hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in their homes and communities

• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks

• Support individuals in community activities, appointments, and outings

• Follow individualized care plans and behavior support plans as directed

• Administer medication as trained and authorized (where applicable)

• Document services provided accurately and in accordance with NJ DDD requirements
