Job summary

In Good Company Care and Supports seeks Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with IDD in homes and communities across New Jersey. You will help with daily living activities, personal care, transportation, and accompanying clients to appointments and activities.

We provide comprehensive training, ongoing supervision, and a support-focused, person-centered environment. Both full-time and part-time roles available across New Jersey with required trainings offered.

Direct Support Professional (DSP)

In Good Company Care and Supports provides home- and community-based support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout New Jersey. We're looking for compassionate, reliable Direct Support Professionals to join our team — both full-time and part-time positions available.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct, hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in their homes and communities

• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks

• Support individuals in community activities, appointments, and outings

• Follow individualized care plans and behavior support plans as directed

• Administer medication as trained and authorized (where applicable)

• Document services provided accurately and in accordance with NJ DDD requirements

• Communicate regularly with families, care team members, and agency staff regarding the individual's needs and progress

• Maintain a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment at all times

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred, but not required — we provide training

• Patient, compassionate, and dependable

• Strong communication skills and good judgment

• Comfortable with personal care tasks

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

• Ability to pass required background checks and complete DDD-mandated training (CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, etc. — provided by the company)
