Job summary

Help at Home is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You’ll provide one-on-one support to promote independence and dignity, with flexible schedules and paid training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (or réussir training)
• Background check and in-service trainings completed
• 18 years or older and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings
• Assist with daily living activities (cooking, cleaning, personal care, transportation)
• Encourage participation in social and community activities
• Document care and progress accurately
• Communicate with team to ensure consistent, quality support
