Job summary

Easter Seals of Tennessee is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to help people with disabilities learn, work, and play in their communities. DSPs provide caregiver assistance, meals, hygiene, and medication administration in person-supported homes.

We offer a starting wage of $15 per hour, tenure pay scale, annual bonus, health insurance, and a range of benefits including retirement options and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have valid automobile insurance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Pass a background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals in the community.
• Support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance quality of life for those we support.
