Job summary

Verland is seeking Direct Support Professionals in Gibsonia, PA to provide exceptional care in our home environment. The role is full-time (40 hours) with a 7am-3pm shift, offering a $20.00/hour wage and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Training is provided, and the position includes comprehensive benefits after the initial period. Responsibilities include implementing individualized programs, supporting residents with daily living tasks, transporting clients, and assisting with meals and personal care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable means of transportation.
• Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions.
• Must pass a complete Background, Physical, and Drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Enrich and support the lives of residents while maintaining a safe environment.
• Encourage skill development through active treatment activities.
• Record observations and daily progress notes.
• Plan social, home, and recreational activities.
• Assist with meals and housekeeping tasks in the house.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles.
• Assist with personal hygiene, bathing and dressing.
• Medication administration.
• Other duties as assigned.
