Job summary

Verland is hiring Direct Support Professionals in Gibsonia, PA to provide exceptional care in a house setting. The role is full-time at 40 hours with a 7am-3pm schedule, offering a direct support position in a home environment and an hourly, non-exempt status.

Starting wage is $20.00 per hour with a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Comprehensive benefits, ongoing training, and daily responsibilities include personal care, activities planning, and transportation for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and transfer.
• Must pass background, physical, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Enrich and support residents' lives while maintaining a safe environment.
• Introduce and encourage skill development through active treatment activities.
• Implement individualized programs; record observations and progress notes.
• Participate in planning social, home, and recreational activities.
• Assist with meals; perform cleaning and laundry duties.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles.
• Assist with personal hygiene and dressing.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
• Administer medications as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
