Job summary

Verland is seeking Direct Support Professionals in Bethel Park, PA. The DSP will deliver exceptional care to residents with complex needs in a home-like setting, supporting daily living activities, meals, personal hygiene, and transportation to activities and appointments.

This full-time, non-exempt role offers a competitive wage and a sign-on bonus. Shifts run 7am–3pm, 3pm–11pm, and 11pm–7am, totaling 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and transfer with no restrictions.
• Background, physical and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care and support to residents with complex needs.
• Assist with meals, personal hygiene, and daily living activities.
• Record observations and progress notes; implement care plans.
• Participate in planning social, home and recreational activities.
• Transport clients to appointments using Verland vehicles.
• Medication administration and housekeeping tasks as needed.
