The Verland Foundation Inc. in Gibsonia, PA is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for full-time shifts (3 pm–11 pm Tue/Wed/Thu and 7 am–11 pm Sat) to care for residents with complex needs.

New rate: $19.25/hour with a $2,000 sign-on bonus and a benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, a 403(b) match and paid time off. Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable means of transportation.
• Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions.
• Must pass a complete Background, Physical, and Drug screening.
• Experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care and ongoing support to residents.
• Enrich and support residents' lives while maintaining a safe environment.
• Record observations and daily progress notes.
• Assist with meals, housekeeping, and personal hygiene.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles.
• Administer medications as required.
• Participate in planning social, home, and recreational activities.
