Qualifications

• Ability to read and write proficiently in English.
• Successful completion of Direct Care Worker Competency evaluation.
• Current CPR Card.
• Current Health Screening as required by state regulations.
• Provide proof of one of the PA nursing-related qualifications or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client health, wellness and safety.
• Encourage independence in daily living and learning activities.
• Crisis prevention and intervention.
• Advocate for client rights and dignity.
• Maintain detailed, compliant documentation on client status and progress.
• Implement behavior support plans safely for the individual served.
• Report suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation promptly.
• Provide transportation as needed and support daily living activities.
