Job summary

Devereux is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Maywood, NJ. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to support individuals in day programs, helping with daily living skills and community activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid non-provisional drivers license.
• 18 years of age or older (required).
• Able to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
• Empathetic with a team approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure our individuals are safe and healthy while attending our day program.
• Supervise, coach, and assist individuals in daily living skills (food prep, cooking, cleaning, shopping).
• Supervise planning, implementation, and documentation of programs meeting social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.
