Job summary

Bridgewell is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities in residential and community settings. The role emphasizes daily living skills, safety, and supportive interventions within a home environment.

Responsibilities include documentation, coordinating with guardians and staff, and ensuring care aligns with DDS/DMH standards. Evening and weekend shifts require patience, reliability, and teamwork in a dynamic community service

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel and web-based systems.
• Valid US driver’s license with 1+ year driving experience.
• Experience supporting people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with activities of daily living and skills training.
• Support individuals to develop independence and decision-making.
• Follow regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies.
• Maintain documentation and progress notes per program requirements.
