Job summary

Verland seeks a Direct Support Professional in Aliquippa, PA to provide individualized care for residents with complex physical, medical and intellectual needs. This full-time role offers a 3pm–11pm shift, Monday through Friday, with a new wage of $20.00/hour and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

House: R-Fairlane House. Minimum 30 hours weekly with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, HSA, 403b, tuition reimbursement and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions.
• Must pass a complete Background, Physical, and Drug screening.
• Experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care and ongoing support for residents with complex needs.
• Enrich and support residents while maintaining a safe, healthy environment.
• Record observations and daily progress notes; implement daily plans.
• Assist with meals and perform housekeeping tasks in the house.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene; support daily living skills.
• Participate in planning social, home, and recreational activities.
• Medication administration as needed; other duties as assigned.
