Job summary

Verland in Aliquippa, PA is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide Exceptional Care to residents with complex needs. The role is hourly, non-exempt, with full-time shifts from 11pm–7am and a $20/hour wage plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Two weeks paid training is provided, and benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, a 403b plan with company match, tuition reimbursement, and paid holidays. No prior experience required; training starts soon.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience not required; willingness to train is essential.

Responsibilities

• Enrich and support residents while maintaining a safe environment.
• Encourage skill development through active treatment activities.
• Implement individualized programs and record daily observations.
• Plan social, home, and recreational activities for residents.
• Assist with meals and perform cleaning and laundry duties.
• Transport clients to appointments in Verland vehicles.
• Bathe, dress, and assist with personal hygiene.
• Perform housekeeping as needed and administer medications.
• Other duties as assigned.
