Verland in Uniontown, PA is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the 2nd shift (3pm–11pm) to provide individualized care for residents with complex needs. This is a full-time role focusing on safety, well-being, and supportive daily living.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care for residents with multiple challenges.
• Encourage skill development through activities.
• Document observations and progress notes daily.
• Plan and participate in social, home, and recreational activities.
• Assist with meals, cleaning and laundry.
• Transport residents to appointments and activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene and bathing.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
• Administer medications as directed.

Pay and Sign‑On Bonus

$19.25 per hour plus a $2,000 sign‑on bonus.

Shift Details

• Week 1: 3 pm–11 pm – Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday
• Week 2: 3 pm–11 pm – Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Week 3: 3 pm–11 pm – Monday, Wednesday–Saturday

Role

Provide individualized care and support for residents with complex physical, medical, and intellectual challenges, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Enrich and support residents.
• Encourage skill development through active treatment activities.
• Implement individualized programs and record observations and daily progress notes.
• Plan and participate in social, home, and recreational activities.
• Assist with meals, cleaning, and laundry duties.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Bathe, dress, and assist with personal hygiene.
• Housekeeping duties as needed.
• Administer medication.
• Other duties as assigned.
