Job summary

Almost Family is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Oregon. This part-time role offers potential for full-time growth and a competitive hourly pay range. You will support individuals with I/DD at home and in the community, providing care, transportation, and life-skills coaching while following individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Experience: 1+ year supporting someone with I/DD.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
• Team player who can work independently.
• Open to shifts including days, evenings, weekends and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide attendant care, relief care, DSA and help clients engage in community activities.
• Provide transportation for medical appointments, errands, and community outings.
• Assist with household tasks and home management.
• Encourage and model life skills and independence.
• Promote positive self-esteem and build meaningful relationships.
• Follow care plans and maintain documentation.
