Job summary

Lifelong Access seeks Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Supported Living program in Illinois. DSPs assist individuals with IDD with daily living, personal care, transportation, and skill-building in home and community settings.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, strong integrity, reliability, and excellent interpersonal skills. CPR/First Aid certification is required or must be obtained, and a valid IL driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Desire to help individuals with disabilities, with prior work/volunteering preferred
• Must demonstrate integrity to ensure dignity and safety
• Strong interpersonal skills with team and clients
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living support (personal care, household tasks, transportation)
• Follow each individual's PCP and Implementation Strategy
• Assist with activities to increase independence and life fulfillment
• Support individuals with IDD in community and living environments
• Adhere to protocols, rules, and safety procedures
