Job summary

Lifelong Access in Normal, Illinois is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide essential services to individuals with developmental disabilities. In this part-time role, DSPs will assist with daily living activities, following personal care plans, and support individuals in achieving independence.

The position offers a supportive team environment with training, professional development, and flexible schedules. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, and demonstrate empathy and care in their interactions.

Qualifications

• Desire to make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Illinois driver's license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide necessary supports and services to individuals with IDD.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care and household tasks.
• Follow each individual’s Person Center Plan and Implementation Strategy.
