Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders a plus.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques beneficial.
• First aid and CPR certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges.
• Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
• Implement behavior management strategies and support individuals in developing appropriate social skills.
• Ensure the safety and well‑being of individuals by following established protocols and procedures.
• Document and report any incidents or changes in behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
• Promote and uphold resident rights and advocate for individuals’ needs and preferences.
