Evergreen Life Services is seeking dedicated Direct Support Professionals in Baton Rouge, LA, to provide compassionate care for individuals with disabilities in various settings. You will assist with daily living, health needs, transportation, and documentation, following individualized care plans.

This role requires strong English communication, reliability, and the ability to work flexible shifts. Training is provided; opportunities for advancement exist in a supportive nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Reads, write, and communicates in English effectively.
• Must pass drug screen and criminal background check.
• Ability to follow instructions and document accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a healthy, safe, and therapeutic environment as per care plans.
• Assist with medication and treatment plans when needed.
• Help individuals with daily activities and at-home responsibilities.
• Support budgeting, shopping, and money management for individuals served.
• Prepare meals and maintain home and grounds as required.
• Complete required documentation according to policies.
