Job summary

ASG Home Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across New Jersey. You will work one-on-one, following each person’s ISP, to promote independence and daily living skills.

We offer flexible hours, local NJ cases, and a supportive team focused on success. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is required; 18+ and a high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old mandatory.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
