Job summary

ASG Home Care is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities throughout New Jersey. The DSP will work one-on-one with clients, following each person's ISP to promote independence and daily living success.

We offer flexible hours and local cases, with in-home and community-based settings. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is required or preferred, with opportunities for growth within a

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred.
Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
