Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You will work one-on-one per ISP, helping with daily living activities and encouraging independence.

We offer flexible hours, local cases, and a supportive team. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is required or anticipated, and drivers license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
