Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings, following each person's Individualized Service Plan (ISP).

You will work one-on-one with individuals, providing hands-on support for daily living activities, documentation, and collaboration with the care team to promote independence and community participation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in caregiving or human services is a plus but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
